Installation Stuck on "Installing Windows 7"

So after the installation process has completed and I try to start my VM, coherence mode doesn't work and it says "installing windows 7" only this doesn't ever go away. It's stuck on "installing windows 7".

I have Parallels 9, Mavericks on a MacBook Pro Retina (late 2013), I'm obviously trying to install window 7, I selected "like a mac" if that's any help.

Also for some reason the aero theme wasn't used as the default theme as well.

Hi JasonStevens,

- Please Stop the VM ; On the Top menu bar of Mac Click on Virtual Machine -> Stop.
- Start the VM again.
- The installation will start again and should complete successfully.

Be careful with that advice - as soon I clicked "Stop" the whole virtual machine was gone.
I just hope that Windows does not count the activation ...
