I installed Kali Linux ISO on Parallels on my Macbook air 2015. Everything including the wifi seems to be working. I'm new with Linux so I'm not sure what to do. Everything on the screen is WAY too small. How do I scale it up to it's original size? Did I install it wrong?

    Hello joblo,
To put your screen resolution to normal please install Parallels Tools .
Should installing Parallels Tools does not fix the issue, then follow this article and change the virtual machine configuration.

If anyone finds this thread today, the correct fix is not just installing Parallels Tools.

You need to enable Retina/HiDPI on both sides.

    On Parallels Desktop:
    • Shut down the VM
    • Open VM configuration → Graphics
    • Enable "Best for Retina display" (HiDPI / scaled mode)

    Then inside Kali Linux:
    • Open the application menu/search bar
    • Search for "HiDPI"
    • Launch HiDPI Mode and enable it

If you don't enable both Parallels Retina mode and Kali's HiDPI mode, everything will remain too small.
