HTML5 Gateway slow

Hello,

I just upgraded my 10.5 appliance server to 11. Html5 Gateway is included. I connect to

https://gatewayip/2XHTML5Gateway

on my lan network.

So i get access to the gateway and i can see terminal services applications and vdi desktop either.

Anyway the html5 connection il slow compared to 2x client. Is it normal for a lan environment or am i missing something?

The server is not running out of memory (Win2008R2 4GB RAM available, 1.9GB used).

The HTML5 client is a pure HTML5 implementation so it will not be as fast as a native client but can be used without having to install a dedicated client. Performance may vary depending on the browser you run it on and on the client machine itself. However it should not be terribly slow (i.e. it should be usable).
 
I have used products like Ericom Access Now and Sparkview/Sparkgateway and the speed is as good as native rdp clients. In some cases it even feels faster so there is no reason for slow HTML5 clients. I am hoping that the 2X version is fast and reliable because I would like to use 2X for both native and HTML5 clients instead of using several different products as I do now.
