How to switch Keyboard languages on Parallels 11 with Windows10?

Hi folks,

I'm using Parallels 11 with Windows 10 (both genuine versions of course)

Everything works fine, but there's one issue causing me headache.

My main Language is Korean; so of course, the system is set on Korean version. However, Parallels doesn't switch keyboard type although I tried every possible key configurations found from web.

Windows (Command on the keyboard I guess) + Space pops up a message that the key types are being switched between Korean < > English. But no change at all.

I also tried clicking IME icon and switched it from ENG to KOR - but still I can't type any Korean.


If any of you are using Parallels on non-English system and able to switch keyboards; please share me your knowledge.

In order to resolve this issue, you need to install Parallels Tools from Virtual Machine > Install Parallels Tools menu item and do the following:

Go to Start > Control Panel -> Regional and Language options and find the following keyboard input languages available for Apple layout:
  • Belgian
  • Canadian French
  • Danish
  • Dutch
  • Finnish
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Norwegian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • Swedish
  • Swiss French
  • United Kingdom
  • United States
  • United States ISO/RU
  • Arabic (Saudi Arabia)
