How to stop sharing Home directory with macOS guest?

Hi,

macOS VM guest seems to be sharing the host's home directory by default and there doesn't seem to be a Settings button for this type of VM. There is a "Isolate Windows from Mac" option on Windows VMs, how can I achieve the same on the macOS guest?

You can disable it with this prlctl command:

prlctl set "<vm name>" --shf-host-defined off

Since only Parallels Desktop Pro and Business editions support the prlctl command-line utility, you can also directly edit the VM's config.pvs file.
