How to pin the Desktop to the Quick Access bar in Windows 11?

How to pin the Desktop to the Quick Access bar in Windows 11?
When I drag a link to the Desktop, it isn't added to the QA bar.
 
I'm experiencing the same issue, but with an obviously much newer version of Parallels Desktop. Is this simply not possible for some reason?
