How do you use Paralells from multiple accounts on the same iMac?

My wife and I share an iMac. I installed Parallels in her account. When I try to access it from my account on the same iMac (like I do for any other ap) Paralells asks me to go through the whole install process again.

How can I access parallels from my account?
 
I am new to mac and to parallels. Do I have to use more disk space to make xp available to all users. Please be very specific, I am still very much learning.

As for space, answer is it depends:
- how much information you are going to store in Windows.
- How many users.
I suggest you to use typical 32gb (default HDD size) and save as much information as possible on Mac side or on external HDD
 
page 235 nor page 241 answer my question. My problem xp is not available when my wife logs in, only when I log in. I don't want to install xp again under her log in.
 
You need to coppy the current installation folder from YOUR documents folder to the Mac Shared folder (enable file sharing in preferences first)

Then select the folder in the new location select 'get info' from the file menu and change the permissions to ALL Read & Write (select 'apply to all contents')
Then relaunch parallels and point it to the new location in the shared folder.

It 'should' now be available to everyone BUT it doesn't always go to plan.

As I said its a bit of a clunky way of doing things.
