How do I get sound to work with Parallels Mobile?

I have Parallels Desktop 7 build 7.0.15104 and sound isn't being sent when I connect from Parallels Mobile. I'm running on Lion 10.7.4 on a 2011 Macbook Pro.

I've tried fresh VM installs of Windows 8 and Windows 7.
I've tried reinstalling Parallels Tools.
I've tried setting the VM's sound output to each of "Default", "Built-in Output", and "Null device"
I've tried running Parallels Mobile on both an iPad 3 and iPhone 4S.
I've tried toggling the sound on/off in Parallels Mobile.

What am I missing?
 
I have the same problem but it sometimes works f me depending on if I am using the direct connection or not. Have you solved this?
 
No, I have yet to get audio to work even once, even with Parallels Desktop 8.

I'm always directly connected. I tried disabling direct connections, but that appears to merely disable the on/off switch for audio in Parallels Mobile.

Also, I have the latest Parallels Mobile (3.2.550.2998) and have since updated to Mountain Lion.
