I have been trying Parallels Toolbox recently as my Parallels Desktop license bundles the toolbox with it. I have been trying to several apps, one that I do find useful is the Hide Menu Icons utility. The issue I am having is that the app periodically quits several times a day and the affect if this is that I get the rearranging the menu bar icons message which steals focus from the current app I am using, annoying when trying to type. I am running version 6.6.0 of the toolbox on macOS Sonoma. Anyone else experiencing similar behaviour or advice on how to get to the bottom of this?

I have the same issue on my M1 MacBook 2019 running Ventura. I simply stopped using it about a year ago and I hoped that the update from Parallels 18 to 19 had a fix but unfortunately it didn't. I'm back to an Open Source tool that has similar functionality.
If you search the forum this issue has been reported multiple times and the response is to submit a technical report. Parallels must have more than a dozen of these reports already so I guess the issue is very difficult to fix.

Kindly update Parallels Toolbox to the latest build and let us know if the issue still remains. I just tried this app on 6.6.2 and was initially quite impressed until I ran into this issue that all users seem to be fighting with. I gather the problem is somehow related to external monitors. In my case my M1 MB Pro is running Sonoma 14.3.1. Please advise if there is a fix to the annoying message/freeze when switching focus to a different monitor.
