HELP: Parallels VM over 300GB and Growing!!!!

I'm running Parallels Desktop 12, with 1 Windows 7 Pro VM, and only 1 (the last successful) snapshot.
Every time I try to start the VM it shows me the windows screen saying "Failure configuring Windows Updates Reverting changes Do not turn off your computer," and then the VM just gets bigger and bigger and bigger until parallels stops it for lack of HDD space.
I checked the VM size using this procedure: https://kb.parallels.com/118158
It is currently over 307 GB and growing...
I tried to free up disk space using this procedure: https://kb.parallels.com/en/122660
Reclaimed 2.6 GB...
I have already removed every file and application possible from my Mac (including moving my entire itunes/photo library to a desktop HDD), run various Mac cleanup tools, and there's simply no more free space I can makes available.
I can't get into windows to run the disk cleanup wizard there because of the failed update process.

Now what do I do?

Hi, this problem is occurring on my VM. HELPPPPP

Please take a backup of the virtual machine and refer this article to merge the hidden Snapshots which will reduce the size of the virtual machine file.
