help on changing image's destination folder on macOS

I'm trying to install kali linux on my macbook pro m4, and I can't change the image's destination folder. It always saves on my Downloads folder, and I don't want it there.I'm trying to move it to Documents/Parallels.
The created file is Kali Linux 2024.2 ARM64.pvm. If I simply move the file, it breaks something or it doesn't recognizes on parallels dashboard.

Hi,

Please find below the steps to change the default virtual machines folder in Parallels Desktop:

1. Open Parallels Desktop on your Mac.
2. Click Parallels Desktop in the menu bar and select Preferences.
3. Go to the General tab.
4. Under the Virtual Machines Folder, click Change.
5. Select the new folder where you want to store your virtual machines and click Open.
6. Close the settings window. New virtual machines will now be stored in the selected location.
