Has anyone created a VM from a 10.14.6 installation if so how?

Has anyone created a VM from a 10.14.6 installation if so how?
I apologise for making this a new thread, however, the forum is a bit opaque.
Ok, I am running parallellsVersion 18.3.3 (53627) 10.15.7. There a number of 32 bit apps that I want to be able to run.
I have VM's for XP, Windows 7.10.11 all of which work
I have an OS 10.14.6 installation which I would like to maker into a VM.
How do I do this?
Have you actually done this yourself?

Below I am sharing solution to the above question in very simple way step by step. Hope it helps you.
  1. Download the macOS Mojave Installer:
    • Go to the Mac App Store and download macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave) installer.
    • If you've downloaded it before, you can find it in your Applications folder.
  2. Create a Bootable USB Drive (optional):
    • You can use the createinstallmedia command in Terminal to create a bootable USB drive with the Mojave installer. This step is optional but can be helpful.
  3. Set Up a New VM in Parallels:
    • Open Parallels and create a new virtual machine.
    • When asked for an installation image, select the macOS Mojave installer (either from your USB or Applications folder).
  4. Adjust VM Settings:
    • Assign about 2-4 GB of RAM and 2 CPU cores for smooth performance.
  5. Install Mojave:
    • Follow the steps to complete the installation.
  6. Install Parallels Tools (Optional):
    • If needed, install Parallels Tools for better performance and functionality.
That's it! You should now have a working macOS 10.14.6 VM to run your 32-bit apps.

Thanks & Regards
Sam Victor

Another way to do it is to use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone your Mojave environment to a diskimage file (it's an option within CCC); copy that diskimage to an empty Parallels virtual hard drive; then run Carbon Copy Cloner to clone FROM the diskimage to yet another empty Parallels virtual hard drive, which should result in a bootable Mojave VM.
