Force Quit Parallels

Bit poster
Something went haywire while I was in Parallels and it has hosed up the Mac side of things, such that I cannot get Finder to launch. I tried to force quit Parallels but nothing happens. Have also turned machine off several times but no help there either. I cannot get access to the Mac Terminal or any disk.
Suggestions??

If you keep having problems with freezing apps, the chances are that your operating system is such a mess that the only solution is to erase and reinstall it.
I've never heard about this issue, what if you try to quit the application with shortcuts like Command+Option+Escape or try to kill it with "Activity Monitor"? It's basically the same thing, but it might work.
