download problems with windows apps

I am having problems downloading updates for java and McAfee Internet Security both say I am having network problems. If you try to use Internet Explorer it works fine. You can go to different pages in Internet Explorer.

- Please (re)install Parallels Tools : http://kb.parallels.com/4841
- Change Network Type to Bridged : Go to Virtual Machine configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) - Hardware - Network 1 - Change Type to Bridged (Default Adapter)
- Isolate Windows from Mac while downloading updates for Windows applications : Go to Virtual Machine configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) - Security - Enable "Isolate Windows from Mac"

Java and McAfee will not still update after making the changes above.

I did notice if I did a ifconfig /all I do not have a DHCP server. MAC side uses DHCP.

The proxy setting was clicked in lans in the internet explorer. That was the problem.. After unchecking proxy setting I was able to download java and mcafee software updates.
