Double click to open PDF attachment on Outlook stopped working

Hi all
as stated above, when I open an email with PDFs attachments in Outlook, and double click the attachment, the document does not open in Mac Preview.

If Preview is already open, the Preview window becomes active but the document has not opened.
If Preview is closed, Preview opens but does not become the active window and the document has not opened.

This has worked in the past without an issue and I have not changed any of my software/settings.

Does anyone know what has changed and what the fix is?

I upgraded to V20 and more issues cropped up eg - double clicking an attachment in Outlook still didn't work; clicking a URL in Outlook didn't launch my browser; double clicking a file in File Explorer did nothing.
After speaking with Support, I found out that I needed to install Parallels Tools as well. After doing that, all the issues were fixed.
So I'm not sure if the fix was the complete upgrade; or if just uninstalling/reinstalling Tools first might work (not even sure if you can do this?)
Anyway, good luck ....
