dont laugh.. Im using Parallels 10 for the last decade!

I have a trash can Mac running 10.9 OS and it's been the best OS I've ever had... But.. alas. Nothing last forever.
I'll be getting a new M1 laptop to replace my trusty old trashcan within 6 months.
How hard is my transition from Pv10 to Pv17?
Can I just move the .PVM file over, and open it with Parallels17? Or do I have to install Winows XP, and my softwares over from scratch?

Hello, we would like to inform that Intel-based virtual machines will not be supported on M1 Mac. But you can transfer the data from Intel-based virtual machine to an ARM-based virtual machine by following this KB article.
