does pd 4128 address the image tool hd expansion issue ?

goin' crazy here, anybody know how to do the hd expansion image tool thing
with any of these pd 3 versions.
i have a program that needs online activation every time i reinstall
but the website no longer exists. so i can't go thru this uninstall-reinstall
crap anymore.
i know you wizards are out there, somebody must have the black magic to
accomplish this.

.......................and why did they exclude it anyway, image tool was about the only
thing that actually worked to start with, everything else is underpowered
and over hyped.
