The Pro Edition says it's got Microsoft Visual Studio Plug-in. Is this needed for Windows XP, or, Windows 10? Or will the Desktop Edition work for running Photoshop CS3?
    Thanks, Tim

I read the post. It seemed to talk about de-bugging and nothing about my question. I am a single individual user that only uses Photoshop 5-6 times a year. Purchasing the Pro Edition, and it's yearly $99.99 ball and chain, does not make financial sense for me if Parallels Desktop will do the job. The VM will be Windows XP. Do I need Visual Studio Pro in order to run Photoshop CS3? Or, will Parallels Desktop allow me to run CS3? Thanks, Tim

  4. Visual Studio Pro plugin is for developers.

    No, you don't need it.
