Noob with Parallels. I'm used to VirtualBox.
Today I have Manjaro running on a Mac with Parallels. I took and snapshot and I understand suspected and pause. However, when I first install Manjaro and run through the install and time zone settings then get into the OS and install some apps all works fine. Great performance too! However, if I then select shutdown and restart the same machine then all my previous state is lost. On startup it runs through a whole process asking for new timezone and all my previously install apps are gone. I'm used to shutdown in VirtualBox where the shutdown simple powers off the machine, it does not wipe it clean. Why does shutdown not persist the OS state.
Either something is broken, or I'm not understand Parallels.,
