Above halt is in a MacBook Pro 8,2 , High Sierra w/ supplemental update and Parallels Desktop for Mac 13.1.0 (43108).
Windows Bootcamp partition boots OK: it's a second partition on a new SSD w/ hybrid MBR. Restored from a Winclone backup, working since parallels 9 on old HDD. Already done: "Make Legacy Bootable" command. (EFI boot is not supported on MBP 8,2)
