Hi,

I've been using parallels for almost 10 years.... I recently bought a new mac (much more powerful than my previous one) and decided to update to Parallels 15. What I found was that an older mac with a Parallels 8 works faster than my new one with parallels 15!!!! that's because the CPU and memory usage is now limited to 4 processors and 8GB of memory (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!). Can anyone explain me how parallels takes that "downgraded" decision?

Regards
Nicolas

Hi, no we have 2 versions: Parallels desktop Home and Parallels Desktop Pro edition.
More info about difference you can find here
You can also upgrade from Standard version to pro with these steps
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
The only thing is that I payed the standard version 2 days ago and don't want to pay it again. Is that considered in the upgrade to pro edition?
