Copy-Paste Disabled with 11.0.2 (31348) on OS X 10.10.5 hosting OS X 10.9.5

Extremely frustrating. It seems that whenever I have the guest running, copy-paste in the host (and sometimes the guest) has issues. The "Paste" option in the edit menu actually appears prayed out.
Shutting down the guest OS (10.9.5) instantly restores copy-paste ability, so it's pretty clear that it's Parallels / the Guest OS causing the issue.
I've seen this issue (or at least some copy paste issues) elsewhere, and a hot fix, but even with the most current update to 11.0.2 doesn't seem to solve the problem. Ugh.

We recommend installing Parallels Desktop updates as soon as they are available because they contain critical fixes and improvements.
To check for updates, go to the Parallels Desktop menu and click on "Check for Updates..." If an update for your version of Parallels Desktop is available, you will have the option to download and install it. Please refer to http://kb.parallels.com/111603 for more information.
