Copy Files to local

I know this type question was referenced earlier but does anyone know how a user can save a file from an application running via HTML5 and some how save it to the local computer. Other RAS providers have a work around that can be enabled if we desire. The HTML5 is so easy for a new user but in my case they have to be able to save an excel file to the local PC. Hey @RichardC11 did you try the JavaScript + Flash library that enables the generation and saving of files on the fly, in the browser, without server interaction?
