Connect keyboard as a "real" USB device to the VM?

Greetings, M1 macbook user- just installed parallells and win11 on it.

I am trying to reprogram a mechanical keyboard whose software/driver is Windows only.

It seems like the keyboard just shows up as a generic keyboard device and works both in mac and windows.

I am hoping to connect it exclusively to windows and have it be recognized as the device it is, rather than shared as a generic keyboard device.

Is this possible? Thank you.
 
nevermind, it works fine. It was showing up as "Bluetooth Keyboard" because that is how the manufacturer called it as it also supports bluetooth. I was able to connect it and reprogram it from within parallels.
