I realize this is kind of a silly question, but I started down this path and now I really want to find the answer.
I run Stamps.com in Windows 7 within a Parallels VM using Coherence mode. Works great.
But the icon for Stamps.com is butt ugly in the mac doc.
No problem I thought, just find the app and change the icon. Grabbed a nicer .ico file and found the app, changed the icon. I thought all was well. Icon looked nice.
However, whenever I actually launch the program, the icon reverts back to the (original) ugly one. Weird. Tried to find other .exe files in the stamps.com folder, and since it is a windows application, of course I did. Changed several of their icons. No joy.
What the heck is going on here?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
