Catalina image does not recognize iphone device

I am hosting a Catalina image. However, when I plug in a iphone device via USB and follow the instruction , the image does not detect the iphone. The device does not ask for authorisation - means that the image fails to detect the usb itself.

The host recognised the iphone.

Configuration
Host : Catalina
Image : Catalina
Device - iPhone
Parallels : Desktop version 15


Please let me know how do I connect to it. I manage to connect it in Majove image but it fail in Catalina image.

I have tested it with usb external hard disk and it work. It just fail for the iphone.

@ IvanT2 Hi, Please reinstall Parallels Tools on Mac OS Catalina virtual machine by(on Mac menu > Actions > reinstalled Parallels Tools) and follow the instructions on this KB article https://kb.parallels.com/111725 to connect the USB device.

Hi, I have the same issue, trying to connect an iPhone the a Catalina VM and the phone is not detected.
I reinstalled Parallels Tools and follow the KB as suggested but nothing changed.
I generated a tech report, ID is 336029810.
