Can't install Parallels Tools and why it stop working

Hi,

I'm on mac x86 using Parallels 1.8.1 with Ubuntu 22.04.
Suddenly, I was not able to find anymore my mac folders, and my understanding is that somehow the Parallels Tools stop working. Why ?
Well, I tried to reinstall it, no luck.
So, I installed another VM with Ubutntu 22.04, installed Parallels Tools, succeeded.
That's good, but then I had to restart my VM and mac folders are gone again.
Tried to reinstall the Parallels tools but guess what? yeah, no luck, error.

My questions are:

why Parallels Tools stop working or why mac folders are not mounted anymore ?
Why Parallels Tools fails to re install

As a possible solution, kindly follow the below steps, to download and install the latest build of Parallels Desktop:

1. Open Finder > Select Application > Right Click on Parallels Desktop and select Move to Bin to uninstall it. (Don't worry, this won't affect your Virtual Machines)
2. Download and install the latest build of Parallels Desktop using the link: https://download.parallels.com/desktop/v19/19.2.1-54832/ParallelsDesktop-19.2.1-54832.dmg
3. Try reinstalling Parallels Tools again using the help of this article.

If the issues still persists, for us to further investigate this issue, while reproducing the issue and collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.
