Can't connect to internet in XP

Where do you find the settings that you were talking about when you said "My Parallels adapter was set to Bridged Ethernet. I switched it to Shared"? I can't seem to find where to change this setting.

Could you tell me exactly where you changed this setting??

I too am quite surprised that there are this many people that are having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM with attempting to connect to the same wireless network that I use to connect to the internet on my Mac side.
