Cannot Resume XP after Suspend

Running PD 4.0.3540 and I can never successfully resume XP after the VM is suspended. Host is Mac OS 10.5.5 running on a MacBook Pro 17", dual 2.6 ghz w 4 GB RAM.

Any ideas how to resolve this?
 
There is no error message. The Parallels window gets stuck with the Resuming progress bar at about 50% and it never goes beyond that. I even left it overnight. The VM was not suspended as another user.
 
Please try following:
1, Stop Virtual Machine -
2. Right click on pvm bundle - show package contents
3. Delete mem and sav files
4. Try to suspend and resume again
