I am trying to install Windows Subsystem for Linux but I get the following error:

Please enable the Virtual Machine Platform Windows feature and ensure virtualization is enabled in the BIOS.

The installation process for distribution 'Ubuntu' failed with exit code: 1.
Error code: Wsl/InstallDistro/WSL_E_INSTALL_PROCESS_FAILED
I have enabled the Windows Virtual Machine Platform feature via the Windows Features dialog and also tried to enable all Hyper V options - but I can only enable 'Hyper-V management tools' and Hyper-V Services.
I cannot select 'Hyper-V platform->Hypervisor' - it says 'The processor does not have the required virtualization capabilities'
I have looked at some old post on here about Virtualization but the options shown do not match what I can see in the Parallels Control Center.
The only option I see is CPU->Advanced->Adaptive Virtualization - I tried turning this on/off - did not help.
Please advise how to install WSL on Parallels Windows 11 VM.
