I have a Windows 10 vm with Zend Server configured and it works fine. I have port sharing turned on, and everything works.
I mention this so I don't get responses with links to directions for port forwarding/sharing. I know how, and I have done that.
Now, I have created a VM with Fedora 34 and Apache with PHP 8.0.1 installed. I added a phpinfo.php so I can test my connections. From within the VM I can access http://localhost/phpinfo.php. From MacOS "Big Sur", I cannot access http://localhost/phpinfo.php nor http://127.0.0.1/phpinfo.php.
To ensure it was specific to the new VM, I stopped it and started my Win10 VM again. Once again, I can access everything as expected.
I need to be able to test and debug using this new VM. I need to validate a migration from Windows IIS running php5.6 to Apache running PHP8+.
I have sent technical details via "Technical report 405953793".
