I've looked around in the forums and can't find the answer to this question:

Can I reinstall parallels without losing info on the windows partition?

Hello Fio999,

Unistallation/reinstalltion/ does not effect on Windows Virtual Machine.

In case you have Parallels Desktop 3.0 please follow the article to uninstall Parallels Destop: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4790
In case it is 4.0 you may use the same package as for installation.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I went to the link you provided and followed the instructions. I get the message "You do not have Parallels Desktop installed on your computer". But I *do* have Parallels installed on my computer.

So I searched the forums and found out that on 3-2-09, someone named "Christopher Janney" had the exact same problem as me. His thread is labeled "Parallels Uninstaller not working- says Parallels is not installed", in case you want to look at it.

Your last message to him was:

I was wondering if you could send me the solution to the problem? I really need to get Parallels working again.
