Build 5582 and Leopard and MacFUSE error

I just installed Leopard. When I bring up Parallels Build 5582 and then Win XP, I get the error saying MacFUSE is too new for the operating system.

How do I fix this? And please Keep It Simple!! I looked thru the Forum for the answer and I couldn't make sense of any of it.

Hello Chim,

Please try reinstalling MacFUSE.
Is this the only error message you get?
You have a clean, just created virtual machine?

I haven't a clue on how to reinstall MacFUSE. Where do I find it to reinstall it?

This is the first error message I got after installing Leopard, and bringing up Parallels and XP. When I used Parallels Build 5582 and Tiger, I had no problem. I haven't gone any farther to see if there are other errors. This one shows up with the Windows desktop and without bringing up other programs. Kaspersky Anti Virus is running in the background. Would that effect it??

The VM was created this summer, with Tiger and Parallels V3. Thus it is not a new, just created machine.

This is the thread i've been looking for and this is the answer i was looking for but when i clicked on that link I saw more than one version so what version should i download and install which will downgrade my Macfuse. I too am running Leopard 5.1 and the latest version of Parellels 3.0. I also get the same dialouge box that dosen't affect windows.

Edit: I took a chance and installed 10.5-1.1.1 Looks like it worked.

The reinstall of MacFUSE seems to have fixed the error I was getting.
I did the MacFUSE-Core-10.5-1.1.1 install.
Other places I found said either downgrade MacFUSE or reinstall it but gave no clue on how to do it. Shouldn't this problem & solution get highlighted somewhere in FAQ or General Info for all the new Leopard folks?

It's a technology, which Parallels uses, that interfaces with the NTFS and FAT32 filesystems from various common *NIX filesystems to include HFS+. Refer to the link referenced in the post above for a full and technically accurate description.
