Blurry text on iMac 27" (non-retina) -- tried everything!!!

At the end of the rope with troubleshooting resolution. I've exhausted my search for a solution.

Running Parallels 13 using my 27" iMac (non-retina) as an external monitor in windowed mode. Just can't seem to get the text crisp.

Any last ditch recommendations?
 
Managed to fix the issue. Set view to 'best for external displays', then boot into Windows. From there, go to Display, and while the resolution dropdown is visible, resize the window. The dropdown will change according to the current window size. Then ensure scaling is set to 100%. Voila. Not as intuitive as it could be...
