I have been using v11 for a long time up to Catalina. Now I have updated to Big Sur and v11 no longer works. I bought an upgrade to 16.1.1. When I try to start Windows 10 I get error messages, Windows try to correct the error, restarts and end up with: Windows stop code: BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO. I have tested with both my current version and a backup from september with the same result. Windows worked OK in Catalina and v11. But now Windows 10 will not start! What might be the reason?

Parallels Desktop 11 doesn't compatible with macOS 11 Big Sur.
Also it doesn't compatible with macOS 10.15.
Please check this KB article for more information about the Parallels Desktop and macOS compatibility.
Different errors and crashes may occur due to the incompatibility.
As a possible solution you can install the Parallels Desktop 16 trial version and get an access to your VM files.
