First of all I have been using Parallels Desktop since 2013. I have an MBP Retina with 16 GB Ram 256 GB SSD Early 2013 . (140 gb available)
Battery health is 100%. My screen resolution is default not using highest resolution.
I have been encountering this situtation for a few months now (After I upgraded to Macos Catalina and Parallels 15):
My problem is:
When parallels is off 10 GB is available on RAM there is nothing wrong. But as soon as I turned on parallels 3 GB space is left on RAM, fans start to run for about 15 minutes, and if I am on battery mode the battery drains so fast. I have not changed anything in the settings of my parallels.
Parallels configuration:
3GB Ram, 2 processors
512 MB memory Graphics memory
I have searched the forum but I could not find a similar complain. As far as I know Corona only infects people not computers.
Please help.
