This is rather hair-pullingly frustrating, as I've been using Parallels on Macbooks since Parallels 11 without ever experiencing this problem.
As I replaced my Intel MB Pro 2019 with an MB Pro M4, I needed to start over with my migration. But connecting my iPhone 13 Pro to Parallels 20.1.3 (55743) running Windows 11 Home (10.0.26100 Build 26100), I can get my external USB iPhone device to be recognized by Parallels running Windows to invoke/reinstall the necessary USB drivers. But despite trying two dozen variations, I hit a brick wall with the Apple Mobile Device USB Composite Device blocking on a dreaded "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" error.
I've followed all the usual USB driver troubleshooting steps on Windows, i.e.,: https://www.pchell.com/hardware/usbcode10.shtml, but to no avail. Multiple driver uninstalls/removals, reinstalls, system restarts, and even Parallels Tools reinstalls have not gotten me past it.
Even on the off chance that Apple installs could affect the drivers, I installed/reinstalled the newer iTunes and Apple Devices apps from the Microsoft Store, uninstalled them and instead installed the OG iTunes 12.10.11 for Windows (Windows 64 bit) binary, etc., but nothing got me past Code 10 on the Apple Mobile Device USB Composite Device driver. Everything indicates I have the latest version for that driver too.
My iPhone connects via USB just fine on MacOS (Sequoia 15.2).
Thanks in advance for any debugging suggestions or advice!
