Activation issue

Hi ...

I've recently purchased desktop for Mac on Macbook pro 13" M1, I found out that windows is not activated and when I attempt to activate it using my product key, it says that "some of these characters can't appear in the product key" such as the letter S.

Please help ..
 
Thanks for your feedback, actually mine is home key, may I know why it won't work? what's the point of purchasing it then? and if so can I ask for a refund as i'm not willing to pay for an annual subscription..
