I upgraded my main computer to Apple Silicon and I can no longer use Parallels for Mac Desktop 8 to host a Windows XP machine for some old software I need to run. I have an older Intel Mac and am attempting to install Parallels on that machine. I found my registration key in my Parallels account, but apparently the server that previously did the activations (activatepd.parallels.com) is no longer operational. Similarly the email address "[email protected]" is no longer in service. I have an activation ID and need the confirmation code to get the software installed. I know it's a very old version but it was working solidly and completely sufficient for my needs. Seeking assistance, thanks.

Please note that technical support is provided as from Parallels Desktop 17 and onwards. Parallels Desktop 8 will not activate since it has already reached end-of-life as well.
