2X client on MacOSX not working

When using the OSX client instead of the Windows or IOS client, I can't connect to a server.
After setting up the connection, the initial connect delivering the desktop icon works.
Trying to open the desktop connection only gives the connecting dialog forever.
Client Version 10.6.1483 (10.6.1483), MacOSX 10.8.5

Thanks for your post, it's recommended you install the latest version of 2X MAC Client from the App store
