Time sync issues on silicon mac running Ubuntu 22 VM

Yes - I confirm the fix I outlined has continued to work for months without a single problem. And I had problems for a long time!

Are you sure you followed all the instructions? Including the manual modification to the .pvm file?

Could you make a snapshot, upgrade to 24.04 and try again?

 

I followed instructions 100% but did not succeed with it. But I have also good news now. I have succeeded with 26.04. After resume, I somtimes run sudo systemctl restart chrony to update the date/time is correct. If I wait more it might even fix itself. I have used it actively for 2 weeks and never got a date from the next century.
