Parallels Tools will not install on virtual Tahoe

Running Parallels Pro 26.1.1 on Sequoia 15.7 and Parallels keeps asking to install Parallel Tools everytime Tahoe boots as a guest OS, and it never actually installs. This has been happening since the first Tahoe beta and I kept hoping that either Apple or Parallels would fix it. Anyone else experience this issue?

I have the same issue: "Parallels Tools cannot be installed. An error has occurred while installing Parallels Tools. Restart the virtual machine and try again."
Restarting or reinstalling the VM doesn't help.
Host: Sonoma 14.8.2
Guest: Tahoe 26.1
Parallels: 26.1.2

Hello All,

Please be informed that the issue with Parallels Tools installation on MacOS Tahoe virtual machines has now been fixed in the new Parallels Desktop 26.3.0 release.

How to proceed:
  1. Make sure you have backups of your virtual machine(s).
  2. Download the latest version installer from here: https://download.parallels.com/desktop/v26/26.3.0-57392/ParallelsDesktop-26.3.0-57392.dmg
  3. Once downloaded and installed, launch the MacOS virtual machine and try to reinstall Parallels Tools (Actions > Reinstall Parallels Tools)
Let us know if you still experience issues with the installation.
