When using Windows 10 in full screen or windowed, I can't reliably scroll with two fingers on my Trackpad (neither the built-in trackpad nor Magic Trackpad 2). Sometimes the scrolling gesture works when the mouse is in a different part of the screen (e.g. I have Edge open in the topmost half of the screen but the two-finger scroll gesture works when the mouse is somewhere below the window), so it seems like the mouse position is detected incorrectly for scrolls. The trackpad works fine otherwise and I can scroll by dragging the scroll bar. In Coherence mode two-finger scrolling works perfectly. Any ideas?
I also have this issue in full-screen mode. Reinstalliing || Tools doesn't help. I have Scale and Layout > Display Resolution set to "1792x1120 (Recommended)" and Scaling set to 125% and the issue is that scrolling Y position is "way off", so using the lower part of the screen -- nothing -- and using the upper part will scroll some window lower down, not the one the mouse pointer is over. It doesn't matter what I set resolution and scaling to, it simply scrolls only in the upper part of the screen. Same happens when it runs in a window. Really frustrating. And don't get me started about sound breaking up with || 17 or with the total crapness of USB on || 17, all Win10 Pro...
I have almost the same problem since the last update. The scroll does not work systematically and I have to restart the VM or the mac to get the functionality back. It's very annoying. Could you apply a fix quickly? Thanks in advance
Hey support, you know, I reinstalled || Tools and it didn't help. However, there is a mouse fix in 17.0.1 that now actually makes the trackpad work correctly for me. Maybe the other crap with Parallels will be fixed, but I don't hold high expectations of this being the case. I understand all this is a wonderfully complex problem for you, but hey, that's the job that you are charging me for.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. We are working on the reported issues with the Parallels Engineering Team. Once we get any updates we usually inform Parallels users about it. As we understand the trackpad issue has been resolved, please let us know if it doesn't.
