Is it possible to upgrade a quite (stone) old version to Parallels Desktop (like Parallels Desktop v4) to latest Version (one time buy - no upgrade plan). Or is there some minimal version mandatory (like v10) or a rule like only 5 versions in the past are able to upgrade? I only found information about version restrictions some years/versions ago. What is the current situation? Thanks a lot.

Hello, you can upgrade from any previous Parallels Desktop version. Please check this KB article for more information and let us know if you have any additional questions.
