I have spent over 6 hours troubleshooting this. I can't suspend my bootcamp VM getting the error "Unable to suspend "My Boot Camp" because your Mac has some application(s) that can read and write to NTFS partitions." I did have Paragon NTFS but have removed and still get the same error.
Short Version: Removed Paragon NTFS, Little Snitch, Google Backup and Sync. Can confirm there are no non apple/parallels kext files. Reintall Parallels and VM and still can't suspend
Long Version: Here is a list in order of tasked tried.
-Uninstall Paragon NTFS using uninstall in Paragon Pref window
-Reboot
-Still getting error
-Reinstall Paragon NTFS
-Uninstall Paragon NTFS using separate uninstall included in .dmg
-Reboot
-Still getting error
-Uninstall Parallels
-Delete bootcamp VM file
-Reboot
-Install Parallels
-Create new bootcamp VM
-Still getting error
-I learned about kext stat and loading drivers. I used the command "kextstat -l | grep -v com.apple" to list all non apple drivers
-It read 3 different Parallels drivers and 1 Little Snitch Driver. No Paragon drivers where present.
-I posted a screenshot of terminal to parallels support and they suggested that little snitch is cause the problem and then they where kind enough to close the case with no followup.
-Uninstall little snitch
-Reboot
-run ""kextstat -l | grep -v com.apple" to confirm only non apple drivers are parallels no more snitch
-delete bootcamp vm
-create new bootcamp vm
-still getting error
-Facebook support suggests it to be the app "backup and sync" I don't have that app but have "google backup and sync"
-Remove Google Backup and Sync
-Reboot
-Still getting error
I have opened a new case with support but I feel like it may be a lost cause.
