Hello. My macbook gets slow lately. I noticed when Energy Saving (Parallels Toolbox feature) is enabled my macbook is not slow. But Energy Saving only works when my macbook is on battery. Is it possible enable that feature when my macbook is charging?
Hello, unfortunately you can't use "Energy Saver" tool while on battery power. From what you said I can suppose that CPU is taken either by Spotlight indexing or by Backup (Time Machine) services - they are both disabled by "Energy Saver" tool. It could be an OS issue or a result of using an old HDD. I can suggest you check which process is taking CPU - disable "Energy Saver" tool - open Activity Monitor, switch to "CPU" tab - find application that takes a lot of CPU (look at % CPU column)
