Windows 10 takes 10+ minutes to load

    I am running Parallels 14 on an iMac 10.13.6 High Sierra. I have set up the VM for Windows 10 (64-bit) with 2 processors, 4096MB memory, 512MB graphics memory and 100GB hard disk. When I start the Parallels Desktop and launch Windows 10, it takes forever to get to a stable state e.g.
    3:18 minutes to the Welcome screen
    4:28 to the Windows desktop
    10:05 to the last program loaded and everything has settled down.

    I had MUCH better performance with Oracle VirtualBox.
    Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

    If you have any antivirus/firewall protection enabled on the Mac, please disable it and check for the performance.
