Yes, if you isolate the VM then sharing will be disabled that is the reason I've suggested you to make sure isolation is disabled. Enabling isolation will disable all sharing features provided in Parallels Desktop.

We would like to know the build you are using is an Insider build or a stable release.
 
hello Ajit...yes "isolation" was always disabled right from the initial stage.....
Anyways, I reinstalled parallel tools...the copy/drag/paste is working fine now.......thanks

How frequently does Parallels Desktop release updates for Parallel tools....
I mean, within weeks or 3 weeks or months etc... cuz I am still facing problems with parallel tools getting reinstalled at the time windows 10 (via bootcamp) starts... It doesn't happen often...but say like, after 3- 4 days parallel tools is reinstalled.......so I just wanted to know parallels tools update frequency......

We will not release separate updates for Parallels Tools when there is latest Parallels Desktop build is available at that time you will be getting latest Parallels Tools. Refer to this article and resolve Parallels Tools reinstallation .

Hello @DavidC29, please be informed that Parallels Desktop 12 Update 12.2 (41591) was released and the issue has been addressed. Please update Parallels Desktop to the latest build. Please note that Parallels Tools also needs to be updated (Actions > Update Parallels Tools) and let us know how it works.
