Good Afternoon! After repeated attempts, I have been unsuccessful at upgrading my Windows & Ultimate instance in Parallels to Windows 10 Pro. I have downloaded the x64 from this site and run it, but it fails each time with the following error: 0xC1900101 - 0x2000D The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during MIGRATE_DATA operation So the download, update and prep processes all work - when it restarts it stops in the copying files stage. I went to the windows forum and the suggested fix was to reduce the processor count to one. I did that in the configuration menu of Parallels to no avail. I have a MacBook Pro with tons of memory and drive space. Any assistance would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks!!!
Hello Alan, 1. Please uninstall antivirus from your Windows 7 (if any) 2. Increase your RAM to 2GB or more also make sure your local disk space has at least 10 GB free spaces, so increase the hard disk space as well. 3. Then follow this article
I have the same problem. Uninstalled Zone Alarm, have 8 GB RAM, 279 GB of space and still get the same result. The update downloads Win 10, go through the updates and then fails. Virtual hard drive is 400 GB. Any other ideas?
