Headless windows - of sorts

Hi there,

I have a few linux VM's that I run in the background headless. Works great.

What I am wondering, is there a way to do something similar with windows? I know this is nit-picky, but what I would like to do is have absolutely no indicator that parallels is running (no menubar item, no dock icon (unless it is for the windows app itself), and just be able to launch the apps themselves. I don't need the windows interface at all. Just the apps themselves. I know coherence is about as close as I think I am going to get, but I just thought I would ask.

Hi Abdul,

I am quite comfortable with Coherence, however if you read the question, I was actually inquiring on how to run it even without Coherence. I just wanted an application window itself. Almost "like" running something in wine, but using Parallels instead (don't want to fudge with wine compatibility).

So no menu bat item, no Parallels dock icon or anything. Just the actual app icon itself and nothing more. I have no problem with Parallels running in the background (have plenty of resources).

Think of it in the same way as how someone can run a linux vm headless without any indicator of Parallels.
